SECURTEK CONTINUES TO BUILD ITS CUSTOMER BASE AND GROW BUSINESS

November, 2004 - SecurTek Monitoring Solutions Inc. has acquired the monitoring contracts of Pro-Techt Security Systems Limited, a security and monitoring company that serves customers in the Regina and Moose Jaw areas. With the acquisition of Pro-Techt’s monitoring contracts, the homes and businesses of Pro-Techt’s customers will be monitored at SecurTek’s headquarters and monitoring station in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

“When the opportunity arose to purchase Pro-Techt’s contracts, we felt it was an ideal chance to further support our strategy of growing our business and expanding our market reach,” said Doug Irwin, President of SecurTek. “Pro-Techt has been in the security and monitoring business for many years, and they have an established customer base and a strong commitment to customer service. Acquisitions such as this, along with new customer account growth, have resulted in SecurTek continuing to expand our employee base in Yorkton, and supporting economic growth for the city.”

The investment in Pro-Techt’s customer monitoring contracts required funds of about $.6 million. This is a continuation of SecurTek’s strategy to expand its customer base, and thereby achieve economies of scale.
