SECURTEK EMPLOYEE'S SUPPORT KIDS HELP PHONE
May 2, 2004 - On Sunday, May 2, over 20,000 Canadians put on their walking shoes and helped raise more than $1.7 million for Kids Help Phone. Among the walkers was a team of 12 SecurTek employees and their families that laced up their sneakers and raised over $1,200.
The Bell Walk for Kids is a national pledge-driven event that raises funds for the Kids Help Phone. The Kids Help Phone is Canada's only national, bilingual, toll-free help line for children and youth who are in trouble or need someone to talk to. They provide 24-hour confidential and anonymous phone counseling, referral, and internet service.
