SECURTEK BOOSTS SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

February 1, 2003 - Dan Baldwin, Chair of the Board for SecurTek Monitoring Solutions, announced the appointment of Doug Irwin as President of SecurTek. Effective immediately, Mr. Irwin joins the SecurTek team in Yorkton, which has been the headquarters for the company since it was launched in 1999.

Doug Irwin comes to SecurTek from Honeywell, Ltd. in Edmonton, where he served as the Field Marketing Leader, Americas West. In this position, he provided direction and leadership for a group of field marketing and sales professionals across Western North America. Key responisbilities included sales support through the provision of technical and sales experience, development of new marketing initiatives and the rool out of new marketing programs.

"As SecurTek continues to expand and grow, Doug's knowledge and experience will be essential to our operations," said Baldwin. "SecurTek's business and financial performance is expected to continue to improve in 2003 and Doug was the best candidate to lead the company forward."
