SECURTEK CONTINUES TO GROW BY PARTNERING WITH MANITOBA COMPANY

August 1, 2000 - SecurTek Monitoring Solutions Inc. is continuing with its growth strategy by joining forces with Metropol™ Emergency Response Centre (MERC), a Manitoba-based security and monitoring services company that serves customers throughout Western Canada.

"SecurTek's strategy is to partner with security companies to help us grow our business and expand our market reach both inside and outside Saskatchewan," said Al Rogers, General Manager of SecurTek. MERC's Independent Authorized Dealers and customers will notice very little change as a result of this alliance and MERC's current management team will remain in place.
