"The teamwork and camaraderie demonstrated by all in attendance at the SecurTek dealer conference at the Banff Rocky Mountain Resort was inspirational. Everyone came away with new insights and a deep desire to do their personal best,” said President and CEO Doug Irwin, who was pleased with the success of the conference.

The conference included a banquet and awards ceremony recognizing the successes of SecurTek’s Authorized Dealers. The President’s Award, the top award of the night for overall success in sales and customer service, went to Brigadier Security of Saskatoon, who also captured the award for Sales-Large Dealer. Others awarded include Beeline Security in Sudbury for Sales Growth, City Lock and Security in Lloydminster for Sales-Small Dealer, Phoenix Security in North Battleford for Customer Retention, and Safeway Electric in Regina for Service Excellence.

“I am particularly grateful to our guest speakers, Paul Kelly and Mike Lipkin, two of Canada's best, and the sponsors who made it possible to hold such a terrific event in such a beautiful setting: GE Security, Burtek, DSC, Tri-Ed, and Securitas,” said Irwin. “SecurTek is truly blessed with a group of business partners who share the same goals and values and who are as a team working together to help prevent crime and improve the communities we serve across Canada."
